Spanish (Castilian Spanish - Castellano) is the main language in Ibiza. Because of the large amount of tourists, English is widely understood and spoken.
However, not everyone speaks it, and you'll find people are much more appreciative (and probably give you better service) if you try and muddle through with a bit of Spanish. |
